One surgeon, two humanoid assistants

Namkee Oh worked alongside two humanoid robots in a simulated laparoscopic demonstration using goat liver tissue. Reporting describes instrument handover, laparoscopic camera positioning, and tissue retraction.

Surgeon-controlled humanoid movement

A separate demonstration showed surgical manipulation through remotely controlled humanoid robots. Public reporting and photographs identify Namkee Oh operating the controls. Teleoperation means the surgeon controls the robot; it does not establish autonomous surgery or long-distance telesurgery.
